Get out your trumpets, Nurturing is launching its next competition!
And there's 500 to go to a single winner! But this aint just any old contest...
This one, will be decided by you! Yes you read that correctly. Isn't this exciting!?
Now it's pretty simple really, the rules and such~ But pay attention!
Members must write a piece no longer than 4000 words that represents a conflict. BUT. There is a catch. You must include the element of complexity.
Not just any old spat will do! Relationships in a rut, sibling rivalry, arguing over the remote control... we've seen it before
We wanna see a tale with a new lease on life, a breath of fresh air, something... unique! We want that conflict, and we want it complex. How will you make yours different? Most importantly, we want it real! So where do you lovely members come in, hm?
Well, once the deadline for entries is up, the admins will narrow it down to five pieces. The five entries will then be put forward for the group to decide who wins the prize! This will be done via the group poll~ Now of course, we can't have our nominees voting for themselves, (although that's difficult to police...) so we'll have a 'I am only viewing' option, reserved for the admins and those five nominees only!
Sound good? Good!
Good luck to everyone, and do enter! It's always a delight - and a ruddy big challenge - to have lots of entries~ You're all so talented and amazing
Let the games-- I mean, uh, contest, begin!
THE RULES (READ!)
Members only.
Members can only submit one entry.
Members' entries must include a conflict.
4000 words maximum.
DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: JUNE 30TH
Information and rules regarding the second stage of the contest will be available when the time comes. For now, get scribbling!
